Jason Wardill is an experienced hospitality consultant with a senior background across Michelin-starred kitchens, gastro pubs, hotels, farm shops, food-led groups and operational leadership roles.

The Final Check exists to help food-led businesses improve standards, strengthen operations and perform more consistently — with practical support delivered by someone who has done the job at senior level.

About Jason Wardill

The Final Check is led by Jason Wardill, an experienced hospitality professional with a long-standing career in kitchens, food operations, menu development, compliance, training and new openings.

Jason has led kitchens to multiple accolades as an Executive Chef. He led pub group Provenance Inns to win Best Food Offer at The Publican Awards 2022, while also helping sites achieve multiple AA Rosettes.

His experience includes leading new openings across hotels, restaurants, multimillion-pound farm shops and cafés, as well as working within hospitality operations in Australia and the USA.

He has held senior leadership roles including Head Chef, Executive Chef, Group Executive Chef, Head of Food & Beverage, Operations Manager and Group Development Chef.

With The Final Check, Jason personally delivers the audits, consultancy, support and mentoring, bringing practical hands-on experience and a commercial understanding of what makes food businesses perform well.
